Huntington Park
California St & Taylor St, San Francisco, CA 94108
Huntington Park is a really special place. This area is totally upscale, and it feels like an oasis. Historical hotels surround this area, and the beautiful Grace Cathedral is right in this area. The whole region is surrounded by refined buildings, and you can tell the city is trying to make this a nice place to be. You can bring your little children to the swings or jungle fitness centres. There is safety fencing around the playground, which ensures the safety of small children or other young people. There is a replica from one in Rome, Italy, of a huge and beautiful fountain that is the central focus of the park. The fountain is named after turtles, of which there are some at the top of the fountain. The historical lamps in the evening give the park a beautiful, romantic atmosphere. It is well maintained and cared for, and all the landscaping is simply beautiful. You can tell they work very hard to maintain this park. It is always seemingly busy, with neighbors from around all come together all day long to relax or to socialize and play with their dogs.
It’s nice to walk around or across Huntington Park every day. Take a moment and discover a beautiful hidden city gem.
Our neighborhood park is such a great place to relax after a long day or sit back and put your feet up. This picturesque square is one of the finest in San Francisco with its views of the cathedral and the iconic Fairmont Hotel. Do not miss an opportunity to admire the beauty of this area! When you visit Nob Hill, make sure that you visit Huntington Park! I am here to sunbathe and read my books in this park at least once a week. This is a great park for tranquility, resting your mind, and feeling safe and secure all at the same time. While it is small, they have organized it such that the playground is at the other end of the park, so you are not right next to kids all the time. This is a great place to walk, and sometimes they play films on a big screen during the summer. It is hidden away, but it is one of the best parts of San Francisco that I have found.
