The question on all of our minds, and we’ve got answers.
When is it safe to travel?
We essentially need to get the green check from the three major following health & safety entities:
- The State Department will lift its Level 4 travel advisory, which you can read more about here. On March 19, the government issued a warning to avoid all international travel because of the pandemic. It will have to rescind the warning for travelers to feel comfortable booking any kind of trip again.
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) must also approve the lifting of the travel ban. Once that advisory is lifted, travelers can resume planning their summer vacations.
- The World Health Organization needs to give the go ahead to travel. The meaning of the WHO’s highly technical warnings are clear: Stay home. Monitor its website for a change. When you see the WHO’s easing up, it may be time to plan your next trip. You can watch here.
Once we are given the go ahead from each of these three organizations, you’ll have one more step. You’ll want to check the rules and regulations of the country you plan on visiting. If you’re uncertain, contact us and we’ll do the hard work for you.
So, When will this be?
As of now, the best options are available starting August 1st, 2020. Travel before then is not currently advised. With this in mind, we strongly encourage you to consider booking your trip in advance. All new flights come with flexible booking options, so don’t fear you will get locked into something if you need to change your plans. There are some great deals that are up and coming offered starting in August, carrying through next April. When the time comes to travel again, you won’t want to miss out on the best and newest deals and options.
It’s important to keep in mind that just because tourist attractions may reopen, does not mean that we can visit them again. Nothing is more important than the health and safety of every traveler. Check in with us at any time to find out the most current travel information and updates.
As always, we at All Business Class are here to answer your questions.
