Ina Coolbrith Park
Vallejo & Taylor, San Francisco, CA 94133
Probably one of the COOLEST spots to an overview of SF city and Alcatraz.
Best way to get there is to walk from Pier 39 ( that’s only if you don’t mind walking or hills).
Went there in the afternoon, nice neighbourhood, fancy houses around, beautiful scenery, just a great place for a cute walk with the one you love! Or even for meditation! You SHOULD pass by it if you’re going to see Lombard st.
Great little park in the middle of SF. Randomly ran into this little place in late afternoon and it was very tranquil with almost no one in it. It’s very small so don’t expect to do much but it could potentially be a ace to have a picnic. Highly recommend if you just want to sit somewhere unbothered.
Possibly one of the best views in the city. The park has been re-planted with native drought resistant foliage. Some of the Century Plants are flowering this year.
Great sanctuary space been visiting this Park since 1990. Lots of nooks to sit, read, eat. Closest Public bathroom is at Grace Cathedral. Can walk up Vallejo steps there’s a patch of lawn to the right to sit on down to ChinaTown. Thanks for being!
City view is gorgeous from this park. There is always space on one of the benches, to sit and read or just enjoy the view.
This is a super beautiful park with an incredible view of the city. Quiet, pleasant, fully flowered: all in all wonderful.
Beautiful Oasis. Gorgeous views. Wonderful plantings. It’s on a big hill, lots of steps.
Incredible views of the city. Recommend to anyway visiting San Francisco. Seems to be a local spot for exercise as the roads are super steep and the park is full of steps.
Cool hillside park with some sweeping panoramic views. Want a good workout? Then start at the bottom!
